An autonomous virus-removing robot could soon clean the cabin of airplanes. Developed by Dubai-based airport service company Dnata and Swiss startup UVeya, the robot uses ultraviolet rays to destroy harmful microbes, viruses, and bacteria. Similar technology has been used for years in cleaning laboratories and hospitals and it is very efficient, says UVeya co-founder Jodoc Elmiger. In addition, it doesn’t leave any trace or residue.

The California-based company announced earlier this week that it would be suspending its next launch, a mission nicknamed ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ that was scheduled to take-off from Rocket Lab’s Launch Complex 1 on New Zealand’s Mahia peninsula on March 30.

The Space Exploration Company, better known as SpaceX, told employees in an internal memo that it made 75 face shields earlier this week and delivered them to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center near its headquarters in Los Angeles. It seems SpaceX is making their own hand sanitizer and face shields that will be donated to help organizations fighting COVID-19. The company also donated 100 suits to the healthcare workers dealing with the coronavirus cases at the hospital.

This Ohio man started taking coronavirus seriously. Brandon C. decided to get a custom plate for his 1986 Ford Mustang over two years ago, but couldn’t come up with an idea for what it should say.
Brandon and his friend were drinking at a local bar, which is, no doubt, the best place ever for brainstorming while discussing the coronavirus and he came up with the idea to check whether “COV1D19” was available from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
